Introduction
Have you ever wondered how Australia’s freight and supply chains are performing?
Australia's domestic freight task has increased significantly over the last 40 years and is expected to continue to grow by up to 26 per cent between 2020 and 2050 in a median growth scenario. The National Freight and Supply Chain Strategy sets an agenda for coordinated and well-planned government and industry action across all freight modes to 2040 and beyond.
For more information on the Strategy visit the Freight Australia website or contact FreightStrategy@infrastructure.gov.au.
